形態特徵

Shrubs, 1–2 m tall; branches and branchlets densely hirsute.
Leaves subcoriaceous to chartaceous, lanceolate-oblong, elliptic to ovate, 5–10 cm long, 1.8–4 cm broad; base cuneate or obtuse, apex long-cuspidate, upper surface glabrous, lower surface densely hirsute; secondary veins 4–6 pairs, veinlets subparallel or forked; stipules narrowly deltate, ca. 1 mm long, hirsute, caducous in age; petioles 4–10 mm long, densely hirsute.
Flowers sessile, ebracteate, clustered in axillary heads. Calyx campanulate, ca. 5.5 mm long, pubescent outside, lobes 4 or 5, triangular-lanceolate, ca. 4 mm long. Corolla salverform or funnelform, ca. 9 mm long, white, upper 2/3 of tube pubescent inside, pubescent outside, lobes 4 or 5. Stamens 5, sessile, anthers oblong, ca. 1 mm long. Style filiform, ca. 5 mm long, stigma 5-branched, white or purple.
Drupe ovoid-globose, 4–7.5 mm in diam., blue, densely hirsute. Seeds 5.

分布

台灣 : in broad-leaved forests at low elevations throughout the island.
世界 : S. China, Indochina, the Ryukyus, and Malay peninsula.
